This is a very rare
condition which is usually caused by trauma. This case is in a 17
year old child who had a previous eardrum repair many years earlier.
The surgeon and the surgeon removed the
anterior
part
of the ear canal so he could see the
anterior part of the eardrum.
He removed too much bone, which resulted in the prolapse of the
mandible's
condyle
into the ear canal.
